For its eleventh edition, the Fête des Plantes takes place at the Château de Cheverny (Loir-et-Cher) on March 23 and 24, 2013.
For two days, nature lovers can meet regional, national and European producers, discover multiple varieties, take advice from other amateurs or professionals ... In addition, a large selection of clothing, crafts, furniture and garden equipment will enrich the visitors' house! Throughout the weekend, entertainment will delight young and old: demonstrations of wood carving, aerobatic and juggling workshops offered by the Blois circus school, games for children and an exhibition on the theme of the identity and language of plants designed by the Lycée Horticole and the Horticultural Society of Loir et Cher. Finally, Chantal Goya, who sponsors the 2013 edition, will delight visitors.
Discover a 17th century Loire castle
This event is an opportunity to discover the Château de Cheverny! With more than 350,000 visitors per year, this castle which inspired Hergé for the Château de Moulinsart, is a must in the region. In the hundred hectare park is an orangery, The Apprentice Garden and the Vegetable Garden. The Jardin des Apprentis is a mixture of colors and shapes.
